Very busy times ahead, I have been offered a lot of work with various projects as well as advancements in my drum teaching work, see below!
Next year beginning January I will be teaching drums at Bovingdon Academy every week, I will still continue to teach from Old School Studios in Milton Keynes and teach privately, for more info see the ‘lessons’ page here on the website.
Next Tuesday I have been booked to go into RGS studios in Milton Keynes to record a few songs for a newly signed artist based in Northampton, a songwriter in Nashville has written the artists first album and a group of very talented local musicians have been hired to record these songs, very excited about this and looking forward to get recording.
I have started playing with Milton Keynes based alt indie rock band Orange Jonny, the last week of this month we will be in the studio recording the band’s first EP, we’ll be done in time for our gig at The Cannon, Newport Pagnell on December 1st.
I have been asked to host the drums at the jazz jam at The Fox And Hounds, Stony Stratford by Terry Marshall, I’m honoured to be involved with his night and very much looking forward to working with one of the Marshalls.
I am still running my own jam nights, every Tuesday at the Kiln Farm Club in Milton Keynes, the last Sunday of every month at Revolutions in Central Milton Keynes and The Bell in Bicester on the third Thursday of every month, each very good nights with some very talented musicians turning up to play.
I’ll be headed to ‘Acoustic Avalon’ this weekend up in Leicester, going to check out the percussion instruments there and catch up with some of my friends at the show.
